Situated around 25 minutes' walk from Rock Lake Provincial Park, the smoke-free Hinton Lodge hotel features Wi-Fi in the rooms, and a car park on site. The 3-star hotel is located in a walkable area, 2.6 km from the Northern Rockies Museum of Culture & Heritage, which is an interesting cultural attraction.
Hinton Golf Club is located merely 200 metres from the hotel, and such natural sites as The Beaver Boardwalk is about a 10-minute drive away. Also, there is Parks West Mall within a few blocks of the Lodge Hinton. The location will allow you to be within 30 minutes' walk of William A. Switzer Provincial Park.

I recently spent a night at Hinton Lodge, and overall, it was a mix of comfort and slight inconveniences. We managed to score a reasonable rate by avoiding the weekend rush, which was a plus, especially for travelers keen on budget-friendly options without compromising too much on quality. The staff was indeed friendly, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping, which kept our room tidy throughout our stay. Breakfast, although packed to go, offered a satisfying variety. The breakfast room felt a bit cramped, and I found myself wishing for a larger space to enjoy our meals without needing to take them back to our room. The amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and the flat-screen TV, added to the convenience. Parking was ample, and the location allowed easy access to Jasper. On the downside, the fridge was surprisingly noisy at night, which disrupted the peace a bit. While the hotel has its charm, I'd advise guests to consider the mid-week options for better value without sacrificing quality. Hinton Lodge offers decent comfort at a fair price if planned well.
